16. Kusum Sarovar in Govardhan
A group of architectural specimens were built by Jawahar Singh in memory of his father Suraj Mal (AD 1707-1763) near Radhakund, about 2 km from Govardhan in Mathura Nagar, Uttar Pradesh state.
Before 1675, it was a crude pool which was confirmed by Raja Veer Singh of Orchha, after which Raja Surajmal gave it a garden as a garden for his queen Kishori and made it a more beautiful and captivating place. Later Jawahar Singh gave it a memorial form of his parents.
